A formal giardino all’italiana, high eighteenth-century rooms and a kitchen that has never strayed far from Tuscan tradition. A wedding, a private party, or simply dinner — the house takes them all.
We are at Scarperia e San Piero, half an hour from Florence and 200 metres from the Palagio corner of the Mugello circuit. Alongside the restaurant and the event rooms, the villa has four guest rooms in the grounds, and there is a gift card if you are buying for someone else.
Fresh pasta rolled by hand every morning, tortelli di patate from the Mugello, bistecca alla fiorentina from the grill and a wine list of more than 450 labels — served in the old rooms of the villa since 1986.

Gardens, old rooms and Tuscan cooking, and none of it brought in for the day. The villa is a registered Casa Comunale, so the legal ceremony itself can be held outdoors.
