Fattoria il Palagio is a XVIII Century villa situated right in the heart of the Mugello region, in the picturesque village of Scarperia, right in the front of the Mugello International racing track

The restaurant is one of the most renowned in the area, and offers a wide variety of typical local dishes: including tortelli (pasta stuffed with potatos filling) served with duck sauce, pappardelle (pasta ribbons) with wild boar sauce, the famous Florentine beef steak and roast suckling pig. Fish and vegetarian meals are also served and there is an excellent selection of wines to choose from

The restaurant's two large reception rooms can seat up to 300 people and there is also a winecellar, suitable for serving aperitives. Set in a beautiful green parkland, Fattoria il Palagio is also an excellent location for weddings, and other special occasions

You can also stay over night in the villa; the spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, provide accomodation for up to ten people
