Fattoria il Palagio is within easy reach of the A1 motorway. Take the Barberino exit and keep straight on, following directions for Borgo San Lorenzo, then Scarperia.The Barberino exit is approx. 15 km from Scarperia. Once you have arrived in Scarperia, head straight through the village (signposted 'Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello'). Fattoria il Palagio is on the left hand side of the road as you head out of the village.
If you are coming from Bologna, you can also take the Pian del Voglio exit, and head South past Passo della Futa, Panna, Galliano, before arriving in Scarperia.

From Florence you can either head straight up the state road n°. 65 (ss65) called 'Via Bolognese', past Trespiano, Pratolino, Vaglia, San Piero a Sieve to Scarperia, or take the ss302 'Faentina' past Caldine, Olmo, Polcanto, and San Piero a Sieve.
If you are coming from the North and wish to take the scenic route across the Appenine mountains instead of the A1, head for the Passo del Muraglione or the Passo della Colla, and follow signs for Borgo San Lorenzo, then Luco Mugello and Scarperia. If you take the Passo della Raticosa, aim for Firenzuola then the Passo del Giogo, and head straight down to Scarperia.

The nearest railway stations are Borgo San Lorenzo (6km ) and San Piero a Sieve (3 km ). Florence is approx. 30 km away.
